Staying in Side Town? See It From the Sea
Being in Side means seeing the town from the inside: its lanes, its restaurants, its evening crowds. A boat day shows you the other view, the one from out on the water.
Short answer
On the Caretta Bay tour, the boat runs along the coast towards the historic peninsula of Side before reaching the bay. Hotel pickup is included for Side town too, so you need not find your own way to the pier. If your hotel is on a narrow street, tell us when you book.
Why bother with a transfer when you are already here?
It is a fair question. The transfer is part of the fare regardless, and using it means someone else handles getting you to the correct boat on time, and back again after a long, sunny day. We would rather bring you to the right boat than give you directions to it.
Which days pass closest to your town
- Caretta Bay cruises along the coast towards the peninsula on its way to the bay.
- The Side Boat Tour spends its day along the Side coast, stopping at several bays.
- Little Pirates follows a stretch of coast, with children to keep busy and a camera to keep handy.

Hotels in the narrow streets
Some small hotels and pensions in the old part of town may sit on streets that a transfer vehicle cannot get down. We have no list of which ones, so we will sort that out when you book. Tell us the name and the street if you have it, and mention anything your reception has told you about reaching the door. We will confirm what happens.
A question for your evening plans
Side has plenty to do after dark, and a long boat day can eat into it. If you have a restaurant booked, check the length of your tour first: Fishing returns you early in the afternoon, while the bazaar day is listed at about ten hours. Our day-by-day page holds what we know about timing.
